Next Generation XBOX and Nintendo

Nintendo Partners with IBM and ATI
The next-generation Nintendo is code-named Revolution.
IBM is deep in development with the CPU that will provide the processing power of the machine. The chip is codenamed "Broadway," according to Nintendo. Meanwhile, ATI, which developed the GameCube's graphics chip, is underway with GPU for Revolution. The chip is codenamed "Hollywood," according to Nintendo.

Code named Xenon. Due out on XMAS 2005.
All games are high-definition. The vision is " all games are in high-definition, players are constantly connected through mobile phones, instant messaging and the Internet and gamers can personalize their environments to suit their tastes. "

Specs for the next XBOX include -
CPU has three 3.0 GHz PowerPC cores. Each core is capable of two instructions per cycle and has an L1 cache with 32 KB for data and 32 KB for instructions. The three cores share 1 MB of L2 cache.
GPU is a generation beyond the ATI X800. Its clock speed is 500 MHz and it supports Shader 3.0.
